Fire System Design & Installation

C & M Fire Alarms have been recognised and approved by BAFE for the design and installation of all types of fire alarm detection systems to meet the criteria of BS5839-1:2002, and 5839-6:2004.

All systems are designed to the clients exact requirements and are carried out from a site visit and/or scaled drawings. Each of our systems is designed to the required standards and will involve a suitable and appropriate fire risk assessment.

All installations are carried out to meet BS7671 17th Edition wiring regulations, and we employ qualified electrical staff to carry out any installation which may include the connection of mains supplies.

We are experienced in designing and installing systems in listed buildings and operating within listing buildings consent. In addition we are also mindful of the aesthetic constraints sometimes placed on installations.
